Keep out the winter chill with our Cerise Luxury Travel Wrap, ethically produced and hand-finished by artisans in Kathmandu using the finest cashmere.

Ply is the number of fibre strands that are woven together. These luxury travel wraps are 6ply, as thick and luxurious as the softest blanket.  Measuring approx 2m x 70cms these wraps drape beautifully around or over your favourite coat.

At AmaDablam we use only cashmere sourced by villagers in the foothills of the Nepalese Himalayas. Many skilled artisans are involved in the production of our cashmere ponchos and travel wraps; from the shepherds looking after the goats, the spinners, weavers and dyers, and their families.

Our payments for our Luxury Herringbone Cerise Travel Wrap go directly to the producers and we work closely with friends in Nepal to ensure working conditions and wages are fair.

Basundhara Ghimire has a small stall on the side of a street in Thamel selling pencil cases and purses. Buying our beautifully stitched pencil cases or glasses case and other products direct from Basundhara helps her to support her young daughter Rubi to stay in school.

Profits help fund our work in Nepal and also helps benefit our fantastic artisan partners.

Care of your Cashmere

Carefully look after your cashmere and it will last many years and become even softer with age and wear:

• Hand wash or dry clean only
• Wash with similar colours
• Do not rub or wring
• Do not soak
• Reshape whilst damp and dry flat
• Iron on reverse
• Store as a folded garment or on a padded hanger
